چکیده

Phalaris aquatica L. (phalaris) is a cool-season perennial grass originating from the Mediterranean Basin, north-west Africa and Middle Eastern regions that used for livestock agriculture mainly in temperate areas with dry summers. It has been subject of breeding programs Australia, South America, New Zealand USA. Increased knowledge relationships between wild cultivated germplasm through use molecular markers potential to facilitate future gains. For this purpose, we conducted an analysis P. by using 3905 polymorphic DArTseq SNP markers. Genetic diversity as measured expected heterozygosity was similar (HE = 0.14; n 57) 0.13; 37) accessions. Diversity generally continuous nature, largely related geographical location, division at broadest scale into eastern western clades, more admixture than clade. Structure indicated six subpopulations consistent country origin, some among likely resulting natural human influences. There were nine accessions combined. This population structure should be considered if genomic selection applied aquatica. Analysis variance 71% genetic variation occurred within 29% subpopulations. distances low most countries except USA, which distinct. Evaluation material US pool other countries, additional less utilised clade, may worthwhile.

Taxonomy and Genetic Differentiation among Wild and Cultivated Germplasm of Solanum sect. Petota

Because of their adaptation to a diverse set of habitats and stresses, wild species of cultivated crops offer new sources of genetic diversity for germplasm improvement. Using an Infinium array representing a genome-wide set of 8303 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), phylogenetic relationships and allelic diversity were evaluated within a diversity panel of germplasm from Solanum sect. Pet...

Genetic Diversity in A Core Subset of Wild Barley Germplasm

Wild barley [Hordeum vulgare ssp. spontaneum (C. Koch) Thell.] is a part of the primary gene pool with valuable sources of beneficial genes for barley improvement. This study attempted to develop a core subset of 269 accessions representing 16 countries from the Plant Gene Resources of Canada (PGRC) collection of 3,782 accessions, and to characterize them using barley simple sequence repeat (SS...

Analysis of genetic diversity among wild bermudagrass germplasm from southwest China using SSR markers.

Fifty-five wild accessions of bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon) were collected from southwest China (Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou, and Tibet), and their genetic diversity was analyzed using simple sequence repeat markers. A total of 267 polymorphic bands were detected with 18 primer combinations. The genetic similarity among the accessions ranged from 0.688 to 0.894 with an average of 0.79...
